Description

Walking is an individual or group activity practiced for exercise or leisure, where the participant uses their legs to travel from one point to another. Walking, while for most performed on a daily basis, can be a form of leisure activity or exercise conducted individually or as part of a group. There are several types of walking that include speed-walking, weigh-walking, and hiking. What distinguishes these types of walking from jogging or running is that only one foot leaves the ground at any one time.
